On 8th May, BTR joined Luton Town’s Prostate Charity Day in memory of ex footballer Andy King and organiser, Mick Harford, brother-in-law, Dave Hall, who both passed with the disease.

Played at the historic Luton Hoo, BTR continued their support of this important charity. “Prostate cancer has been a cause we have supported for a number of years and are always looking to support Mick championing awareness of this illness” says BTR CEO Lee Brewin.

Representing BTR were Jack Brewin, Barrie Gilmour and Steve Hicking and their celebrity for the day was the ex-player and manager, Paul Jewell. Paul proved to be an excellent host and the BTR team enjoyed several anecdotes from his past in professional football.

Ex Luton Town legend, Mick said “we always value BTR’s support for Prostate cancer. Year after year they support our golf day, and the charity, and it wouldn’t be the success it is without people and companies like Lee and BTR”.
